Saving - Sonic X Reader

You were walking around Mobius, your katana hidden in your coat. You were wearing a (Outfit). You were also that one girl that had the attitude of the city. Oh. And you were a (F/C) (Y/A)... Anyways, you were looking through your wallet/purse, your (Outfit) easily swaying with your actions. Then you were suddenly knocked over by someone, and that person freaking stole your wallet/purse…..

“Hey! What the **** are you thinking, stealing my personal stuff!?!?” You yelled, chasing after them. You were just about to take your katana out, when a blue blur went past you, then came back to you. You saw that it was the infamous Sonic the Hedgehog, holding your wallet/purse to you. You grabbed your wallet/purse, put it back in your pocket, then crossed your arms, then started to walk away.

“Hey! Don’t I at least get a thank you, (Y/A)!?” Sonic called out to you. You turned back to him.

“One, call me ______, and two, I don’t need to be saved.” Then you walked away again. Sonic sighed from behind you, then walked away.


(Time Skip)


You were walking in the nearby forest, and a red echidna suddenly appeared in front of you, and accused you of trying to steal something called “The Master Emerald.”(Hmm….. Wonder who that is???....*Sarcasm*) You sighed, and told him that you had no idea what that was, but he didn’t buy it.

“Then why would you be walking on this island?”

“I wanted to explore. That simple. I seriously don’t know what this ‘Master Emerald’ thingy is…” You told the echidna.

“LIAR!” He accused you again, and rushed at you. You were about to sock him in the face, when a familiar blue blur came, and stopped the echidna from attacking you.

“Geez, Knuckles! What did she do for you to try and attack her?”

“She’s going to steal the Master Emerald! She’s even denying that she even knows what it is!” The Knuckles guy told Sonic, still struggling to get a hit on you while you sighed.

“Sonic, I told you I don’t need to be saved.” You told the blue blur, crossing your arms.

“Oh really? Then everything would be alright if I let this Knucklehead come and try to kill you?” You rolled your eyes and walked away as Sonic told Knuckles that you only had an attitude.

“I HEARD THAT!” You yelled.


(Time Skip)


“Are you getting too close to Sonic?” A pink hedgehog suddenly came up to you, a big hammer in hand. You scoffed.

“No way. He’s annoying as ****...”

“Then why is he always talking about you!?”

“I seriously don’t know. Ask him.” You stated bluntly, sighing. “Geez, you’re like an overprotective girlfriend…” You muttered under your breath. Apparently the hedgehog heard you, and she tried to attack you. But guess who showed up…

“Dang it, Sonic! I told you, I don’t need you to be saving me!!!” You yelled at him. Sonic had grabbed a hold of the pink hedgehog’s arm, and the girl was blushing madly.

“Oh Sonic! Can’t you just marry me already!?” The girl suddenly had a change of attitude and glomped Sonic.

“Gah! Amy, I already told you- No!” Sonic said, struggling against Amy. Meanwhile, you sighed and sat down, watching the show. Amy started to try and kiss Sonic’s cheek, when he looked at you. “Help a buddy out, would ya?”

“One, you’re not a buddy to me, and two, no.” You stated simply, standing up and walking away.

“C’mon!!! ______!?!?!?”


(Time Skip)


You were minding your own business when a metal claw suddenly grabbed you. ‘WHAT THE ****!?!?’ You thought, struggling. You looked at the machine, and saw that it was the one and only Dr.Eggman.

“HAHA!!! Now I can use you as bait for that Sonic!”

“Just try. He probably won’t care anyways.” You told him, no emotion on your face. Eggman only smirked and tightened his robot’s grip on you, making you cringe as your leg started bleeding from your katana. ‘Crap… How could I forget to sheathe my freakin’ katana!?!?’ You thought as you passed out from the pain.


(Time Skip)


You woke up in a white room, hooked up to devices. You looked down to your leg, and saw that it was bandaged. Then you noticed your coat was gone, and your katana leaning against the wall. Then you sat up quickly, and the monitors nearby started beeping like crazy. ‘Oh, shut the **** up...’ You thought, throwing the pillow at it, making it shut up. You sighed and laid back down on the surprisingly comfy bed. ‘Wait, wasn’t I kidnapped by that Eggman guy?...’ Then a two-tailed fox came in.

“Oh! Hi there! You must be ______! Sonic saved you from Eggman when he was trying to do some experiments on you!” The fox said, grinning at you. You were expecting Sonic to come in, but he didn’t.

“Where’s Sonic then?” You asked. The fox grimaced.

“He sorta… Didn’t come back after we rescued you…” You sighed.

“Idiot…” You muttered, getting up, only limping a little as the fox freaked out.

“H-Hey! You’re not supposed to be walking yet!”

“Well, I don’t give a crap.” You told him. “What’s your name anyways?”

“Oh! I’m Miles Prower, but everyone calls me Tails!”

“Well, Tails. I’m gonna ask you to help me figure out what Eggman did to me, then see if we can use it to our advantage to find Sonic. You seem like you’re handy with gadgets.” You said, looking around. Tails blinked.

“Uh, sure! I’ll just need to run some tests on your blood to see if that has anything unusual!”

It turns out, that you had the power of the elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Darkness.

“That’ll definitely be helpful!” Amy perked up. Five minutes into the testing, the pink hedgehog, and the red echidna from earlier came in, hearing about Sonic’s disappearance. They had properly introduced themselves, and decided to help with the saving of Sonic. Knuckles nodded in agreement to what Amy had said, and you smirked.

“Well, I’m gonna go save him now.”

“Why don’t I fly you there, so that you don’t use up your powers before you even get there.” Tails offered. You nodded.

“Thanks, Tails!”


(Time Skip)


You were in the shadows of Eggman’s base, occasionally taking out his robots without others noticing. Eventually, you got to a room with a lot of controls, and Sonic strapped to a table, passed out. You were about to save him, when something hit you from the side.

“Huh, you’re here again.” It was a red robot ( Sonic-Colours-Orbot ) that seemed like he didn’t really care about much, and he had some sort of gun in his hand.

“What does that matter to you?” You asked. The robot sighed.

“I’m supposed to make sure that Sonic isn’t released, and- OH MY!” You shot him with a fire sphere, making him fly back. “...Shutting down.” He went limp. Then another robot came.

“HEY BUDDY! IS THERE A PARTY IN HERE WITH SONIC!? HUH? HUH? HERE IS PRETTY BORING! LET’S GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!”colours-cubot He yelled, the voice hurting your ears. But thankfully, he dragged the red robot away, laughing. You sweat dropped, then pressed some buttons on the control board, and Sonic was released, but he still was unconscious. You sighed and put him on your back, grunting.

“Geez Sonic, with how fit you are, you’re still heavy.” You muttered, going in the shadows, and using your darkness to make you and Sonic invisible. You slowly but surely started to get back to the entrance, trying to be as quiet as possible. About five minutes later, you were almost to the entrance, and you heard Eggman starting to freak out, making Sonic jerk awake, making you lose your concentration and falling into the light.

“You okay?” Sonic asked, pulling you onto your feet.

“I should be asking that.” You said, pulling on his wrist and going outside. When you got outside, there were thousands, maybe millions of Eggman’s robots!

“This might not end well…” Sonic said, sighing.

“We’re not gonna die!” You exclaimed, grabbing Sonic’s wrist and running, using your air power to blow all of the robots away.

“Woah!” Sonic yelled, narrowly ducking under a robot’s head.

“Sorry!” You called. Then you were at the end of the island, looking exhausted.

“Hey, ______, do you think you could make a platform out of the air? I’ll run us back to Mobius.” Sonic told you. You nodded, and Sonic took your wrist and started running, you using your power to make a platform. In no time, you two were back, but you were exhausted beyond belief. “______?” You heard as you passed out.


(Time Skip)


You woke up in the same room as earlier, but this time, Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles were surrounding your bed.

“She’s awake!” Amy cheered, clapping her hands and grinning. Tails and Sonic grinned at you, as Knuckles nodded, looking a bit mad like usual.

“You did it, ______!” Tails cheered, glomping you.

“It was no problem…” You grunted out, struggling against the fox. Knuckles pulled him off as you took a HUGE breath. Then you blinked. “Oh yeah, Sonic, you’re heavy.” Sonic rolled his eyes.

“Is that the first thing that you think of when you wake up? I’m heavy?” You shrugged and laid back down.

It’s been a couple of years since that incident, and you’ve been traveling with your new friends. You’ve met a couple of other people, like Rouge, Shadow, Silver, Cream, Vector, etc…, and you’ve started to like Sonic.. A little bit more. One day, you two had taken a walk, by yourselves in the forest.

“Hey, ______?”

“Yeah?”

“Remember when we first met?”

“Yeah…”

“You know how you keep on saying that you don’t need to be saved?”

“Yes…”

“Yet I still save you.” You snapped.

“THAT’S YOUR OWN CHOICE!”

“Aw, you know you love me!”

“NO I DON’T!!”

“C’mon, ______! Let me save you again!”

“NO! STOP CHASING ME!!! YOU’RE PLAYING WITH ME, **** IT!”

“Good to know that you know how fast I can go. Have you been stalking me?”

“NO! SHUT UP!!!”

“______!!! I’m gonna save you again, no matter what!”

“NO!!!!!!!!”
